AMD has released its new technology , Radeon Anti-Lag 2 SDK, to GPUOpen and GitHub platforms to reduce latency in games . This new software development kit (SDK) is available to game developers, allowing them to further reduce latency in games. This will improve the overall response speed of games and provide players with a smoother gaming experience. Details in our news…
AMD releases Anti-Lag 2 SDK that reduces game lag
AMD first introduced Anti-Lag technology in 2019, which reduced latency by optimizing the flow of data between the CPU and GPU. The new Anti-Lag 2 technology provides more advanced latency control. This technology, which was previewed with Counter-Strike 2 in May 2024 , promises players faster response times.
While Anti-Lag 1 only works at the driver layer, Anti-Lag 2 can be integrated into the internal mechanisms of games. In this way, the in-game processing process is made more efficient and latency is minimized. This advanced control mechanism minimizes the delay between the actions players enter and the display on the screen.
